CelClient™
CelClient™ allows users to implement the CelPlan® Integrated Solution in different architectural configurations and from
different client platforms.
CelClient™ creates virtual workplaces allowing remote access to CelPlan’s®
software through thin-client architecture. For a Windows environment,
the CelPlan® Operating System provides the thin client while, in other client environments, CelPlan® uses the third-party solution from Citrix Systems.
Features
- Allows access
to CelPlan's® software applications
from a wide range of client environments, such as UNIX, Macintosh,
Windows, WindowsCE, PocketPC, and DOS;
- Remote users
can access CelPlan's® applications over dial-up connections;
- Enterprise-class
management for end-to-end command and control of application’s
delivery;
- Support for running CelPlan's® applications as web applications through the use of standard browsers;
- Centralized application
management, reducing the costs of initial and upgrade installations
on each, individual workstation and enhancing applications and data
security; and
- Scalability
to enterprise-class applications by supporting farms of servers
that are dynamically assigned to new users depending on their utilization.
Users’
Working Areas Organization
Projects
can easily be organized on working areas based on user- access levels
to allow users to remotely run their projects on a server (or server
farm). Users can achieve access even through a web interface using dialup
lines because the amount of information transferred is very small compared
to the amount of information processed on servers. |
