REAL SYSTEM SURVEY AND ANALYSIS - (CASE STUDY)

Target Audience
Teams of engineers and technicians working with optimization and design of cellular systems.

Pre-requirements
Knowledge of problems in the service area and of the system deployed. Also recommended is knowledge of Windows systems and Excel.

Goals
Present cellular systems planning and optimization techniques, by analyzing a deployed system.

Course Syllabus
This training course is divided in three parts: acquisition of systemic data; analysis of system behavior through signal level measurements and prediction studies and traffic simulations; and presentation of results and proposals for system improvement.

Length
The length of this module varies according to:

  • provisioning of systemic data;
  • creation of radio base station and antennas databases;
  • Creation of geographic database (topography, morphology, image);
  • complexity of the problem reported.
