"Smart Grid Interconnections, Communications and Implementation" presentation at NEF 2013

Xi’an, China - Leonhard Korowajczuk, CEO/CTO, held a presentation titled, "Smart Grid Interconnections, Communications and Implementation" to the attendees of the 2013 New Energy Forum (NEF) Conference.

Mr. Korowajczuk's presentation covered topics such as, Smart Grid Wireless Design Considerations, Architecture, Communication Network Technologies, Network Design, etc.

He also presented an overview on Remote Terminal Units (RTU), Advanced Metering Infrastructures (AMI), Mobile Forces (MF), Video Networks (VN), alternatives to wireless communications and the importance of reliability and Quality of Service (QoS) in a Smart Grid environment.

Mr. Korowajczuk further elaborated on the importance of characterizing the different services to be offered, the Quality of Service (QoS) required by each service and how the latter plays a key role in the design of the wireless network for Smart Grid applications.
